EUREKA TOURISM is a European strategic initiative launched within the EUREKA programme and led by Spain, oriented to the sustainable improvement of tourism, leisure and cultural sectors. The objective is the definition of the main lines of technological development and the generation of R&D projects that as a result would set up products, processes or innovative services with technological basis and a commercial interest.

Oriented to public and private entities, EUREKA TOURISM is a real European network for technological innovations in the tourist sector.

Turkey joins EUREKATourism

The EUREKA network officially approved the joining and participation of a new member the Umbrella EUREKATourism. Consequently, Turkey, through the participation of TÜBITAK is a new member of the EUREKATourism Consulting Committee.

Now, the initiative counts on information points and active members in 12 countries: Alentejo Network of Tourism Village and INESC INOV in Portugal, CICtourGUNE, CINNTA (Andalusia Lab), IBIT Foundation, ITH, Tecnotur and SEGITTUR in Spain, Correlation Systems and GeoSim in Israel, DeciZium in Belgium, Dev-Help in France, E&E Travel Providers in Cyprus, EC3 in Austria, Paragon Europe in Malta, TEAM Tourism Consulting in the UK, TourEspace in Switzerland, TRC in Ireland and Tübitak in Turkey.
