New Call for R&D Projects: Turkey - Israel
Following the outstanding success of the previous calls, Turkey and Israel are announcing the 4th Call for Proposals for joint R&D projects, focusing on development of innovative products and applications in all technological domains. Applicants are expected to develop ready to market solutions or products having strong market potential for Turkey and Israel.
Although projects from all technological domains are welcome, special focus will be given to the following domains:
• ICT – Information and Communication Technologies
• Biotechnology and Medical devices
• Bio-Agro – Agriculture and Food Technologies
• Automotive

New Call: Sweden - Israel
Sweden and Israel announced recently a new initiative within EUREKA with the purpose of promoting bilateral EUREKA projects between Israeli and Swedish Life science companies. The objective of this new call for joint R&D project is to stimulate generation of EUREKA projects with joint participation from the two countries and thereby increase the number of successful EUREKA projects.
It is mainly focused on promoting Individual EUREKA & Eurostars projects in Life Sciences however, according to EUREKA regulations, project proposals in other thematic fields will also be considered. Project participants can be funded through the national programs managed by respectively: the Office of the Chief Scientist (OCS) in Israel and VINNOVA in Sweden.
The call is managed and implemented in the framework of EUREKA. The deadline for submissions is 15 July 2010.

Call: Germany - Israel
Germany and Israel are announcing a Call for Proposals for joint R&D projects, focusing on developing innovative products and applications in all technological and application areas. Applicants are expected to develop ready to market solutions or projects which have strong market potential for Germany, Israel and Europe and will be labeled in EUREKA, a pan European network for market oriented R&D.
MATIMOP and BMWi will provide access to public funding for joint projects provided by OCS (Office of the Chief Scientist of the Ministry of Industry & Trade and Labor, Israel) and by the BMWi’s ZIM program (Central Innovation program for SMEs), respectively.
Submissions should be done by June 25th, 2010.
