EUREKA TOURISM is a European strategic initiative launched within the EUREKA programme and led by Spain, oriented to the sustainable improvement of tourism, leisure and cultural sectors. The objective is the definition of the main lines of technological development and the generation of R&D projects that as a result would set up products, processes or innovative services with technological basis and a commercial interest.

Oriented to public and private entities, EUREKA TOURISM is a real European network for technological innovations in the tourist sector.

Call for proposals for joint R&D projects between Slovenia and Israel

Slovenia and Israel are announcing a call for proposals for joint R&D projects under the Eurostars Programme.
The call focuses on developing innovative products and applications within the field of Cleantech; Bio-Agro, agriculture and food science; ICT; Life Sciences; Biotechnology & Medical devices.

The call is managed by the Eurostars Secretariats in the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology (MHEST) in Slovenia and MATIMOP – The Israeli Industry Center for R&D on behalf The Office of the Chief Scientist (OCS) of the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Labor in Israel.

Call for joint R&D projects: Sweden - Israel

Sweden and Israel launch a new call for joint R&D project outlines aimed at developing innovative products and applications with participation of companies from the two countries. The call is managed and implemented under the EUREKA Eurostars Programme.

The call is open for proposals in all thematic fields and participants can apply for EUREKA/Eurostars funding through the national programs managed by the Office of the Chief Scientist (OCS) in Israel and VINNOVA in Sweden.

Project Outlines should be submitted to MATIMOP and VINNOVA by completing the EUREKA application form by 1 July 2011. Partners with eligible outlines will be recommended to submit full project proposals by 22 September 2011 according to the programme guidelines.
